Via Ferrata is an activity that opens doors to a vertical world, and is a starting point for those interested in a challenge, but not quite ready to rock climb. It’s fun and accessible to individuals that are in good physical shape.
Here are a few via ferrata options:
Via Ferrata des Evettes – in altitude La Flégère, Aiguilles Rouges
Via Ferrata Curalla – Plateau d’Assy
Via Ferrata du Mont – Sixt Fer à Cheval
Via Ferrata Farinetta – Saillon, Suisse

VIA CORDA CHAMONIX
Via Corda
Via Corda is an activity that introduces you to mountain climbing, using ropes. It is open to individuals in good shape, with an interest in mountaineering. The Via Corda combines hiking, scrambling and easy rock climbing. You need a good pair of walking shoes and will be roped together in terrain that mountain goats like to climb!
In the Chamonix valley there are two via corda options:
Via Corda Alpina – Rochers des Mottets, Montenvers-Mer de Glace
Via Corda Rochers Verts Via Damou, Argentière, Crèmerie du Glacier
